Jim did not only help us buy our home, but also sell our previous one. He was very responsive, and understood and helped me through my frustrations of buying and selling. It was my first time with everything, so he was very patient and gave a lot of guidance. I learned a lot and Jim made it all so streamlined. It is not often that one cannot think of any negative in an experience. But that is exactly the case for our recent purchase of a property with Jim's help. He is great communicator and will respond promptly and even proactively inform you on things that might be of interest. He listened to all our wishes and requirements one if which was fast purchase and from the first visit of the property, we received the keys in only 2 weeks time! Throughout the whole process we felt that we can trust him and even get his help after the purchase reviewing contractor's offers for some planned work in the property. Jim helped to sell our home while also helping us to purchase one at the same time! Insanely busy and stressful time for us, but Jim made it so much more manageable and helped guide us through the process step by step. Jim is extremely hard working and very detail-oriented... you will see emails from him before 5AM and late into the evening. We have never had an experience with a real estate agent like this before. Jim had incredible patience with us, encouraging us to wait for a better property rather than committing to one that wasn’t perfect for us. Willing to meet any time, for any reason. Completely connected to the local scene so he had private or pocket listings all the time. He even scoured city records to find an owner of a house that was not for sale, and convinced the owner to consider an offer from us. He was incredible negotiating for us once he found us the right house. Willing to play the ‘bad guy’ when needed. And then after we closed and we needed painters and contractors and fence people and floor people, etc. Ridiculous – he was basically a general contractor for us, including helping us get preferred pricing on services, simply as a courtesy. I insist that you call me to hear more - Jim deserves to be the top agent in all of California, if he isn’t already. 6 stars.
